The harvest in Macedonia, which is in full swing, will gather 125 thousand tons of grapes, which is about 10 thousand tons more than last year and of very good quality. Some wineries confirmed that this year will buy and processed more grapes than last year.
“Depleted stock of Macedonian wine cellars and wine export contracts which wineries signed in the past are the main reasons why can be expected purchase of grapes by our members and larger quantities of wine,” says George Petrusev CEO the association Wines of Macedonia.
The Wines of Macedonia is an association in which members are ten Macedonian wineries that achieved about 80% of total wine exports.
