Agency for Electronic Communications (AEK) Macedonia is prepared to reduce the wholesale price of the SMS interconnection rates for calls between operators in the country.
AEK will next week send a communication to mobile operators in the country to notify them to reduce the wholesale price of the SMS messages between operators by about 50%. It is expected that this change will affect the price of text messages that operators charge to end users.
According to the announcements, a month later it will be a new release by AEK to reduce interconnection prices (prices for conversation) between operators, it is expected that the cost of one minute conversation will be equated with all operators.
