Kosovo's Central Bank has announced that it is creating the Kosovo National Group Members and Users SWIFT code, which will be officially recognized by Swift Group.
The national team will have the Committee as the highest body and Chairman of charge as routine matters. The Committee shall consist of representatives of individual member institutions.
Communication also adds that “Kosovo Swift Group will have an important role especially high in the coming months when the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, the Bank for Business and Commerce Bank will functionalise SWIFT connection as financial institutions of the Republic Kosovo and the other domestic banks that are already connected to SWIFT will begin to adequately identify the bank as the Republic of Kosovo.
