The company Eagle Hills has decided to donate all profits from its Tropicana beach facility on Velika Plaža in Ulcinj to public institutions in Montenegro’s southernmost town and to support initiatives and projects of importance to citizens and the local community.
“The company continues, through socially responsible business practices and donations, to emphasize and promote the development of the local community. The decision to direct the entire profit from the beach facility toward support for schools, preschools and institutions for children with special needs, as well as other organizations that need assistance, and to actively participate in the implementation of development projects, confirms our commitment to sincere cooperation as a fundamental value of a professional and successful relationship,” Eagle Hills said in a statement.
The company announced that the Tropicana beach facility, which has been entrusted to a third party for management, will officially open in mid-July.
Eagle Hills Montenegro has, in recent months, become one of the most significant private partners of Montenegrin sport and socially responsible projects in the country.
Support was first directed toward sport. The company signed a gold sponsorship agreement with the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, then became a premium sponsor of WHC Budućnost, and also provided financial support to SWPC Budućnost One, as well as to the Ulcinj Volleyball Club. In this way, Eagle Hills has become involved in the development of volleyball, handball, swimming, and water polo — sports with a significant tradition and track record in Montenegro.
In addition to sports clubs, the company also provided support during last year’s wildfire season. Fire services in Podgorica, Kolašin, Žabljak and Ulcinj each received donations of 50,000 euros, totaling 200,000 euros. Additionally, the non-governmental organization Gorani received 15,000 euros for the implementation of environmental and socially beneficial projects.
