Alabbar: The beauty of Georgia deserves development projects that respect its landscapes, empower its people, and build lasting prosperity

As one of the world’s leading investors in mixed-use destinations, Eagle Hills brings its international expertise to Georgia, strengthening confidence in the country’s increasingly dynamic investment environment, the company said in a statement.

Marking a new chapter in its development, Eagle Hills has officially opened its new Presentation Center in the heart of Tbilisi, further reinforcing its presence and long-term commitment to sustainable development across Georgia.

“The opening ceremony, attended by H.E. Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, H.E. Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and Mr. Mohamed Alabbar, Founder and Chairman of Eagle Hills Properties, represents an important milestone in the partnership between Eagle Hills and the Government of Georgia – a collaboration built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to shaping the nation’s future through world-recognized sustainable destinations.

Located in the heart of Tbilisi, amidst its historical charm and modern spirit, the Presentation Center stands as a testament to progress – a space where design, innovation, and community come together. More than just a venue, it serves as an interactive exhibition of Eagle Hills’ two flagship projects: Tbilisi Waterfront and Gonio Yachts & Marina,” the statement reads.

Visitors, the company noted, are offered a detailed insight into the scale, design, and vision of these developments. Through displays and presentations, the Center highlights how these destinations reflect Georgia’s natural beauty, cultural richness, and vitality, offering a glimpse into the next chapter of the country’s sustainable growth.

Mohamed Alabbar emphasized that the opening of the Presentation Center in Tbilisi marks the beginning of a shared journey with Georgia.

“Our vision is to make a meaningful contribution to the country’s development – by creating jobs, attracting investment, and showcasing Georgia’s immense potential to the world. It is a great honor to collaborate with the Government of Georgia in fostering sustainable progress, innovation, and prosperity for generations to come,” Alabbar said.

The Tbilisi Waterfront and Gonio Yachts & Marina projects together represent a unique path for Georgia’s growth – combining economic development with environmental responsibility, modern advancement with cultural heritage.

“With planned investments exceeding USD 6.5 billion, these destinations will make a significant contribution to Georgia’s GDP, attract more than 350,000 visitors annually, stimulate local industries, bring over USD 10 billion in foreign direct investments, and create more than 30,000 jobs in construction, trade, hospitality, and tourism.

Both projects are guided by Eagle Hills’ belief that genuine progress must respect both people and place. In Tbilisi and Batumi, this commitment is reflected through energy-efficient infrastructure, smart systems, green mobility networks, and environmental protection — with a special focus on preserving natural habitats and migratory bird routes along the Black Sea coast in Batumi.

Georgia’s stunning landscapes and deeply rooted traditions serve as both inspiration and responsibility. These projects are designed to complement the existing environment, enhancing its beauty while generating long-term social and economic value. Together, they align perfectly with Georgia’s national development strategy – advancing sustainable tourism, promoting responsible land use, and contributing to the country’s long-term growth,” the statement adds.

Located on the banks of Georgia’s capital, Tbilisi Waterfront is described as “a unique riverfront development reflecting the character and natural charm of the city.”

“It spans 590 hectares, including 170 hectares of parks and green areas, redefining urban living through an innovative mixed-use community where architecture and nature coexist in harmony. The master plan envisions luxury residences, boutique retail, dining venues, and modern wellness and spa centers, connected by expansive green areas, pedestrian pathways, and recreational zones.

Designed to strengthen Tbilisi’s position as a thriving and livable capital, the project sets a new benchmark for sustainable residential communities in the region. Rooted in the principles of sustainability and balance, Tbilisi Waterfront promotes connectivity – with nature, movement, and people. Pedestrian avenues, cycling routes, green corridors, and a world-class wellness center encourage community well-being,” Eagle Hills stated.

Along Batumi’s enchanting coastline, Gonio Yachts & Marina is emerging as a visionary 260-hectare destination. Designed as an exclusive marina community, the project harmoniously blends luxury and sustainability, creating a haven for seaside living. At its core lies a world-class marina, complemented by branded residences, luxury and boutique hotels, retail boulevards, and landscaped areas inspired by Georgia’s maritime heritage.

“Developed with an environmentally responsible approach, Gonio Yachts & Marina respects Batumi’s pristine shoreline through energy-efficient design, responsible coastal management, and biodiversity protection. The destination enhances the region’s tourism appeal while preserving its natural heritage, positioning Batumi as a leading hub for yachting, leisure, and luxury living.

The Tbilisi Presentation Center serves as the centerpiece of this experience, showcasing how Eagle Hills’ projects redefine sustainable living, vibrant communities, and life by the sea,” the statement concludes.
