Farmers’ Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo held a meeting regarding the recent European Commission decision on cancellation of two previously suspended project intended to BiH agriculture, where they said they would ask the government to urgently fulfill obligations associated with IPA funds. President of the Union Drago Knezevic said that farmers should not be held hostage by political leaders and invited everyone to join them.
– Funds are ruined by the grotesque power that does not work either in the interests of farmers or anyone but for itself. We will fight for the establishment of the Ministry of Agriculture at the state level to ensure that does not happen again with the funds that are planned within 2 IPA funds, Knezevic said .
