Fructal increases profit three times under Serbian leadership

Fruit juice producer Fructal from Ajdovščina will present new product line today, value of three million euro, said director of Serbian Nectar Bojan Radun.

“This is completely new, automated filling line, first among such in Europe, which will provide us completely new products,” explains Radun.

New products will be packaged in innovative packaging  Tetra Edge of multinational company Tetra Pak.

Nectar from Backa Palanka acquired Fructal from  Breweries Union on  December 2011th. First, for94-percent stake paid 35.3 million euro, and then bought remaining shares from minority shareholders and and became owner of company.

FRUCTAL revenues from sales were about 50 million euro last year and net profit 462 000 euro. However Radun optimistically announces that Fructal, despite only a slight increase in inflows, will succeed to increase its net profit to around two million euro this year.
