Analysts of Commercial Banka Zagreb (CBZ) stick to their forecasts of fall in GDP to 0.9 percent in this year.
“We expect further slowing of fall in GDP, and in third quarter we remain in assessing that GDP will record decline of 0.9 percent on whole year level,” annaunced analysts of CBZ in publication Week analysis released today.
Also, noted that third quarter will mainly rely on positive effects of tourist season and impact of fiscalisation, while impact of loss of CEFTA market and increased competition in domestic market, but also the post-season intensification of negative trends in the labor market have dominant negative effect on the movement of economic activity in the fourth quarter .

Analysts of CBZ are “slightly optimistic” currently, and for 2014. with forecast of economic growth of 1 percent. Currently the biggest unknown is the state budget for 2014. year.
