Government of BiH should decide soon about increasing of minimum hourly wage in Federation by ten percent, which would minimum net wage be 378 KM instead of 343 KM, which is at that level since 2008.
Ministry of Labor and Social Policy determined proposal of such decision, which is waiting for more opinions of cantonal governments so the federal government could finally declare to the increase of minimum hourly wage.
Ministry has not included in this issue its social partners, trade unions and employers. However, in Alliance of Independent Unions of BiH greet increasing of minimum wage, which they demanded for years, and which receives large number of workers, and in Federation Association of Employers have nothing against it, but point out that should solve the problem of wage coefficients at the same time.
