Belgrade Airport “Nikola Tesla” announced that during August transported 441 088 passengers which is 7 percent higher comparing same month of last year, while other categories of business also recorded very positive trend. Number of passengers was 2,380,911 (3% increase) observed from beginning of the year.
Number of airline operations in August was higher by 9 percent, peaking in 5171 and if summarize period January-August of current year, number of operations is approximately at the same level as previous year.
In the same period, about 4.82 million pounds of goods are transported, which is 3 percent more than in 2012th and this positive result owes to workhorse boom that was registered in August when the volume of transported goods climbed to 816,000 tone, which was the largest monthly increase in the 2013th (30%).

During August, record growth of 12 percent is registered with postal deliveries a, so that in the first eight months, the amount of postal goods climbed to 638,689 pounds (3%).
In recent days shares of airport on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, similar to the rest of the market, are experiencing a trend of growth, as from the beginning of the year experiencing a minimal loss of -0.4 percent. At yesterday's closing price of 446 dinars, the market capitalization of the company amounts 15.3 billion dinars (133 million euro).
