Head of IMF Mission in BiH Ron Van Ruden said today that it is good that the economy is in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia is recovering, and that it has been registered the increase of the volume of industrial production and exports.

“Also, the Srpska budget realization in the first six months of the year is good. Certainly there are some good and bad things when it comes to what interests us” said Ruden to reporters after a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Cvijanovic in the fourth quarterly review under stand-by arrangement.

He pointed out that in the future BiH can expect significant challenges.

“In this year’s budget Serbian there are certain holes , bearing in mind that revenue collection is somewhat disappointing. It also made ​​the decision to increase spending, including salaries, so they need to reach some agreements as to the gaps are closed , “said Ruden .

He pointed out that the prospect of next year a challenge.

“We’ll have to see how it will look next year’s budget. We understand that this is an election year , but we must make sure not to lose the achievements related to the reduction of the budget deficit ” said Ruden .

According to him, the unemployment rate in BiH is very high.
