Industrial production in Croatia in July, four months in a row, decreased by 4.1 percent annually. In announcement of the Croatian Central Bureau of Statistics specifies that industrial production, according to calendar adjusted data, in July fell by 0.9 percent from previous month, while compared to July last year dropped 4.1 percent. This is significantly larger decline than in June, while production fell 1.5 percent, so after rising at beginning of year, in last four months industry decreeasing perpetually, said in the statement.
The decline in industrial production is result of weakness in domestic demand, weak external demand because of weakness of euro area economy and restructuring of domestic industries, among others, the shipbuilding industry.

In first seven months of this year, industrial production fell by 1.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.
