Eagle Hills and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia have signed a framework agreement worth USD 6.5 billion for the development of two flagship projects – Tbilisi Waterfront and Gonio Yachts & Marina.

The signing coincided with the official visit of the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, further confirming the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.

The projects, with investments exceeding USD 6.5 billion, are expected to add more than USD 7 billion to Georgia’s GDP over the next decade, create over 31,000 new jobs, and attract foreign direct investment exceeding USD 10 billion. In addition, more than 370,000 new tourists are anticipated annually, with strong positive effects on construction, trade, logistics, tourism, and hospitality.

Tbilisi Waterfront, located on the hills overlooking the river and the city, and Gonio Yachts & Marina in Batumi, on the Black Sea coast, are set to become symbols of modern urban development while preserving nature and cultural heritage. Sustainability, innovation, and environmental protection stand at the core of both projects.

Mohamed Alabbar, Founder and Chairman of Eagle Hills, emphasized that these projects represent a long-term commitment to Georgia, which has enormous potential to become a global destination for living, tourism, and investment.
