Slovenia, with 1.4 billion euros investments, is one of the biggest investors in Serbia and year trade between the two countries ranges from 800 to 900 million euros.
Governments of both countries will support further strengthening of economic cooperation. among the other things, by the joint participation of companies in other markets, said the Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Alenka Bratušek yesterday at a business conference on relations between Serbia and Slovenia, which was organized in Belgrade which was the part of the first official visit of the Prime Minister Slovenia to Serbia.
The potential sectors for deeper cooperation are energy, infrastructure, information technology and agriculture.

As the imbalance in economic relations between the two countries remains the fact that the opposite to 1.4 billion euros of investment, the domestic economy in Slovenia invested only 100 million euros . In Serbia, there are close to 1,500 companies or representative offices from Slovenia, 500 of them are active and they employ about 35,000 workers.
