Slovenia exported goods to 1.508 billion euros, which is up to 3.2 per cent less than in August in 2012. year, while exports declined by 1.8 percent , to 1.568 billion .
Coverage of imports by exports was 96.2 percent , according to the National Statistical Institute .
In the members of the European Union in August ,exports of goods amounted to 1.131 billion euros, which is 75 percent of total exports , while in other countries of 377.1 million euros.
From the EU the goods were imported in August in the amount of 1.205 billion euros , or 76.9 percent of all imported goods , and from the other countries, up to 362.7 million euros.

Slovenia ,for the first eight months of this year ,increased an export ,while an imports is decreased. During this period, the goods were exported to 14,238 billion ( two per cent more than in the 2012 ). , while the import of 14.588 billion euros was smaller for one percentage than in the first eight months of 2012 year.
By the end of August, the deficit in foreign trade was 350.3 million euros, and the coverage of import by export was 97.6 percent , according to the Statistical Office.
