Stopanska Banka – Skopje, Macedonia’s largest and most profitable bank last year, in the first six months of the 2013th recorded a revenue and profit growth.
Net interest income increased by 11.4%, to 22.4 million, while net income from fees and commissions fell by 2% and amounted to seven million. Together with net income from foreign exchange, trading and other income from activities Stopanska bank has total revenues of EUR 33.4 million, while total expenditures amounted to 25.3 million euros, which means that the profit of the bank is 8.1 million euros and 29% higher compared to the first six months of the last year.
Recall that few months ago longtime director Gligor Bišev left the Bank, but he left it in good condition, stable and profitable, and in his place came Diomidis Nikoletopulos from Greek NBG (National Bank of Greece), the mother company of Stopanska Bank.
