The Banks in Slovenia in the first six months increased the loss by nine times. In the first siy months the lost amounted to 215.6 million euros , while the loss in the same period of last year amounted to 24.4 million euros.
Interest income fell by 20 percent and other revenues by 42 percent. At the same time the costs have increased by 10 percent.
Most new costs came from bad loans, as banks are already cleaning their balance sheets. More specifically, banks have reduced operating costs by six percent and increased costs just for bad credit.

The banks in Slovenia for the first six months of this year has 380 million of interest income (last year at the same time it amounted to 480 million) and 195 million in revenues from other sources. Gross income of banks was in the first six months 575 million euros.
