According to Eurostat data, the Slovenian construction in June this year, growing by 10.5 percent, the highest among all EU countries.
The scope of construction work in the eurozone in June increased by 0.7 percent, while in the entire European Union by 0.8 percent.
Except in Slovenia, construction grew strongest in Poland (5.3 percent) and Germany (1.6 percent). The biggest drop, however, recorded Romania, where construction activity fell by 2.4 percent.

In the second quarter of 2013th Slovenia has issued 913 building permits, which is 24 percent more than the 2012th Number of permits issued for residential buildings increased by 14 percent, while permits for residential and commercial buildings increased by approximately 33 percent.
