SLO: Banks lost 315 million euros in the first half of the 2013

Banks and savings banks in Slovenia in the first seven months of this year had an even 31.9 percent less revenue compared to the same period last year. Operating costs are also reduced cumulatively by 5.8 percent.

Decline in revenue banks  between two years – from last year’s 988.6 million to this year’s  673.4 million – on the one hand  was a result of  inactivity of the  banks and the fact that banks are earning  very little with the new jobs, especially because it does not not lend.

At the same time, crucial income, interest income, banks decreased from 558 million to 445 million euros ,  because more and more clients can not repay loans.
