On Saturday, 31 August, expired deadline for expressions of interest for the provision of non-binding offer for the acquisition of shares and recapitalization Croatia insurance.
In addition to the well-known candidates Adris, Polish PZU and Slovenian Triglav, interest in privatization CI expressed AIG American, Austrian and German VIG Ergo.

Based on decision of 18 July this year, the government plans to sell part of the total of 80.2 percent of its stake in the CI, and so that upon completion of the transaction state stake would remain at least 25 percent plus one share, or up to 30 percent of the shares of capital of CI.
