No results from today’s meeting between the Minister of Trade and Industry of Kosovo, Mimoza Kusari-Lila and her counterpart from Macedonia, Valon Saraqini for unlocking commercial ban of goods between the two countries. However, the two ministers agreed to continue meetings in the coming days to find a solution to the situation.
Meanwhile, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mimoza Kusari-Lila said that Kosovo will not cut the extent to Macedonia without the Macedonian government firstly abolished both decisions- limiting the amount of imports of flour and wheat and to imposing tax to Kosovo citizens who want to go to Macedonia, Orainfo reports.
On the other hand, Minister of Macedonia, Valon Saraqini, said that imposing restrictive measures on imports of flour and grain was not only to Kosovo and this is not in contradiction with the CEFTA agreement.

He said that this decision the Macedonian government has done to protect local farmers, and refused to answer the question whether the Albanian ministers voted in favor of establishing a fee for citizens of Kosovo who want to go to Macedonia.
