Montenegro should carry out tax policy reform and introduction of model-one that has higher income and property also pay higher taxes, but with model of progression, not proportionality, as it is currently case, said MP of Socialist People’s Party, SNP Aleksandar Damjanovic. He believes that by the end of month should be defined proposals for progressive taxation.
“I reckon that the job should finish until end of September, so possible changes and proposals for progressive taxation could recorded in determining of proposed budget for following year, durring October and November, so that eventually changes of tax laws could be put into practice at the same time with new budget year, “Damjanovic said.

He recalled that his personal and programmatic efforts of SNP, that tax policy reform and the introduction of the model to one who has higher income and more assets pay higher taxes is needed for Montenegro, but by model of progression, not proportionality, as it is case currently.
