Macedonian insurance market has huge growth potential because the amount of insurance per capita is only 55 euros, while the average in the Southeast European countries is between 200 and 500 euros, Deputy Director General of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), Franz Goats said. He explained that this was the reason VIG wants to expand business in Macedonia by taking another insurance company in the market.
“Countries in the region registered strong growth of insurance in the last 10 years, so we expect this trend to come to Macedonia,” said Goats.
