Senior Accountant required in the Finance & Accounting Team at Porto Montenegro to:
- Book transactions (bank statements, incoming and outgoing invoices, accruals, fixed asset register)
- Deal with the day to day financial administration
- Cross check for accounting pre-closing
- Prepare and follow up monthly and annual reports on management or institutional requests
- Follow up on construction contracts and capitalization
- Prepare VAT reports
- Prepare statutory financial statements
Essential Skills Required
- University Degree in Economics/Business
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and/or audit
- Knowledge of Sun system or some ERP software is preferred
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is preferred
- Advance skills in MS Office, especially in Excel
- Fluency in English
- Results oriented thinking, strong communication skills
- Attention to structure and detail
- Strong team player
- Able to perform under pressure
