Industrial production in Serbia in August this year was 5.7 percent higher than the same month last year, and in comparison to this year’s average increased by 5.6 per cent, the Statistical Office announced.
The same institutions had data on gross domestic product which in the second quarter of this year was increased by 0.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
The strongest growth had sector of information and communication (almost 10 percent), electricity, gas and water supply (3.2 per cent) and mining (2.8 percent), while the largest decrease in gross value added was recorded in construction (42.5 percent) and trade (close to five per cent).
