Total 732,831 passengers transported by Macedonian airports in January-August. This represents an increase of 105,675 passengers compared to the same period last year, according to the operator of the Macedonian Alexander the Great Airport – Skopje and St. Paul – Ohrid.
For eight months of this year compared with last year registered an increase in the number of flights, accounting for 10% of 8489 flights.
Most popular destinations from five Skopje Airport in January-August were Istanbul, Vienna, Zurich, London and Ljubljana. Passengers traveled mostly with airlines company Vizer, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Adria Airways and Pegasus Airlines.
