Montenegro and Turkey have good cooperation in all fields which will be enhanced, looking from point of Turkish investments, assessed ministers of transport of t two countries Ivan Brajović and Binal Jildirmi.
Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs announced that Brajović, during Transport Forum in Istanbul with his Turkish counterpart discussed about overall cooperation, especially in field of transport and infrastructure.
“Relations between two countries were rated excellent , with no barriers in cooperation, and represent the best incentives and recommendations for further strengthening of partnership. Ministers agreed that the level of investment companies from Turkey, as well as those in phase of development and negotiations, shows that the cooperation will improve in future” the statement said.
Brajović, during the meeting, referred to Turkey’s successful projects in Montenegro, as well as on potential investors who are interested in further investments.

He was, recalling to offers of Turkish and Turkish-American consortium Dogus-Gulsan and Bechtel-Enka, priority section of the highway Bar-Boljari, mentioned earlier interest of Dogus Holding for development of marinas in Montenegro, then Limak in the field of air transport, Global Ports for Container terminal and general cargo, as well as Turkish Airlines for cooperation with the Montenegrin airlines.
Jildirmi said that the two countries has rising trend of cooperation in all fields, which can be strengthen in future.
Brajović, on the sidelines of the forum, had a number of bilateral meetings, and with counterparts from Macedonia and Kosovo Milem Janakieskijem and Fehmijem Mujotom, discussed about future modalities of improvement of regional cooperation.
