Up to December 2012 total external and internal debt of BiH amounted to 10,463 billion convertible marks , according to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.
As stated, the external debt of BiH amounts to 7,131 billion, or 68.15 percent, while domestic debt was 3,332 billion or 31.85 percent.
In comparison to the 2011. year , public debt in the 2012th was increased by about 488 million or 4.9 percent . It is added that in addition to this amount, as much as 1.7 billion are related to the assets which are not withdrawn, and for which realization are responsible entity of BiH and the Federation and the Republic Srpska.
