Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Kosovo counterpart to the European Commission presented a draft Energy to supply gas to Kosovo and southern Serbia.
Kosovo can benefit from TAP pipeline of 2 billion per year. Policy Director at the Ministry of Economy hydrocarbons STAVRI Dimas, stated to the media that the project approved by the Energy Commission is part of the gas ring of the Western Balkans.
But according to him, the feasibility study for the project will begin after him Ioniano-Adriatic Pipeline (IAP), which will be linked to the TAP pipeline near Fier in the Albanian territory.
The feasibility study for the two projects are financed by the EBRD.

IAP values totaling 3.5 million euros, while the link with Kosovo, 1.75 million euros.
In total, the ring of gas transport in the Western Balkans is designed for a capacity of 5 billion cubic meters.
Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia have not been connected to the European network of gas distribution.
