Since November Macedonian companies will be able to apply for the use of the new 100 million favorable credit from the European Investment Bank (EIB ), which is realized through the Macedonian Bank for support and Promotion.
Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski yesterday announced that by mid- October, pending approval of a new tranche after the entrepreneurs get access to credit at a fixed interest rate of 5.5 % and a repayment period of eight years for investment projects and three years for working capital.
So far , from this line of credit the company had available to 250 million euros , of which so far drawn 222 million euros for the implementation of 761 projects , which have created about 4,800 new jobs. Gruevski expects that by the end of the year to withdraw another 6 million.
