Gross domestic product (GDP) in Macedonia in the second quarter recorded growth of 3.9 percent, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
The largest increase was in the construction sector by 33.2 percent, transport and storage by 7.5 percent, while the growth in the Mining Sector’s quarrying, manufacturing and supply of electricity and gas is by 4.1 percent.
Household consumption rose by 3.5 percent compared to the same period last year, and its share in the GDP structure is 75.9 percent. At the same time the exports of goods and services rose by 1.1 percent, and its share in the GDP is 1.3 percent.
