€ 100 million from Abu Dhabi to Serbia

Serbia in the next ten days will get the first 100 million from Abu Dhabi Development  Fund for irrigation, said First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

It is the loan to 20 years, with a five-year grace period and an interest rate of 2.5 percent, he said in his address to the members of the SNS in the premises of the party in Krusevac.

He explained that this loan will cover 25,000 hectares of land with the most modern equipment for irrigation. Vucic said that the coming days will be signed a memorandum of understanding, and then in the next six weeks and an agreement with Mubadala company on the research center.

The company would invest in the center of about 400 million euros, he said.

Speaking of the new investment, First Deputy Prime Minister said it expects to open  Bosch factory in Šimanovcima in November.

“In November one foreign company that manufactures cables for the automotive industry could open the first 500 jobs, and we expect that by the end of next year to open another 1,000,” said Vucic.

He expressed the hope that the Mercedes enter in the Ikarbus, adding that Serbia can expect a lot of new investment.
